In February 2005, I undertook the leadership workshop: “Developing the leader within you”.
I thought the workshop was excellent!  It gave me practical tools and ideas for developing leadership behaviour, and for improving my effectiveness and communication with my colleagues at work. The group I worked with throughout the two days was not only made up of interesting people from diverse backgrounds and business areas, but it was also the perfect size for effective interaction and exchanging ideas.

While I undertook the workshop initially with the aim of learning ways of helping me improve my leadership capacity, what I learnt was much more.  I not only learnt that, for me, being a leader is not something you ‘do’ but something you ‘become’ through hard work and self-improvement!  A bit of passion is also important!

“Developing the leader within you” proved to be a far greater learning experience than I had anticipated. Well worthwhile.

“I would strongly encourage anyone in management to pursue an opportunity to attend this leadership course. The greatest encouragement, however, would be to the senior leadership of an organization to come and to understand these principles and be able to role model it in the organization. So that when people come back they can see a picture of what it looks like in their own four walls.”

Tami Heim (President, Thomas Nelson)

“Best subject matter and class I have ever attended. My friends, family and employees are wondering what happened to me.”
Kevin Williams (Director International Sales, Agfa Corporation)

“The class size is perfect - small enough to be intimate and large enough to learn from others with the right amount of communication and input. Everyone who attends wants to learn, grow, and leave here being better people, better managers, and better leaders.”
Joel Brenner (VP of Operations, Novastar Mortgage)

"I attended the "Developing the Leader with you" course conducted by Create One and found the course gave me some great ideas about how to be a better leader. I particularly liked the section on how to connect with others through dialogue and understanding. The five levels of leadership was an interesting concept and has given me a clear focus and reaffirmed that the process of learning to be a good leader is a life long experience, that will take me through various stages."
